We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hard-working individuals to join our successful production team as Maintenance Supervisor

Duties

• Focusing on business optimization and coordinating with the maintenance team and production manager to ensure production runs seamlessly.
• Leading and managing continuous improvement initiatives and new installation projects (new machinery and lines).
• Providing the maintenance team with clear direction on a daily basis. Ensuring that team members are provided with proper guidance and resources to be successful and efficient in their given role.
• Developing and improving upon preventative maintenance procedures and operations.
• Scheduling and delegating maintenance responsibilities to the maintenance team.
• Overseeing new installations, shutdowns, and removal of old/broken machinery and equipment.
• Ensuring all health and safety policies and procedures are followed by all team members and handling any disciplinary actions.
• Create a Maintenance schedule and program following manufacturing guidelines of a 75,000 sq. ft manufacturing plant.

Qualifications + Experience*

Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience

• Red Seal Millwright is an asset.
• Strong leadership abilities and proven experience coaching and developing team members.
• Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Strong focus on health and safety. Any certifications are a strong asset.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
