Maintenance Technician

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hard-working individuals to join our Maintenance Department.

Duties

  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, equipment and tools.
  • Schedule regular cleaning, lubrication and safety checks e.g. forklifts/ equipment.
  • Diagnose problems and breakdowns on machinery, equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
  • Source and order replacement parts, repair or replace defective parts estimate and schedule repair work.
  • Schedule machinery technicians for particular jobs and work with them to diagnose and repair machinery
  •  Analyse machine performance and determine solutions to improve
  • Move machinery/ equipment / Dismantle, re-install
  • Operate hoisting and lifting devices in order to re-position machinery
  • Schedule and monitor external contractor on site for routine maintenance and repair of repair of specialized machinery and equipment.
  • Perform routine building maintenance
  • Develop and implement lock out procedures for all machinery.
  • On call after regular shift if any break downs to help production meet their goals.
  • Maintain proper documentation on all maintenance activities.
  • Work in a safe manner; fallow all safety procedures and report unsafe situations.

Qualifications + Experience*

  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Industry courses
  • Plant equipment courses
  • Maintenance training
  • Trade certifications

General Labourer / Production Worker Metal Fabrication

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hard-working individuals to join our successful production team as a general laborer /production worker.

Duties

  • Assemble parts into finished assemblies using different techniques
  • Grinding and smoothing of sheet metal parts using a variety of tools
  • Operating a machine to insert hardware—PEMs, clips, ties
  • Shaking out of metal parts
  • Masking and hanging parts
  • Heavy lifting and moving of parts

Qualifications + Experience*

  • Must be eligible to work in Canada

*No experience needed, as training will be provided.

Skills

  • Good communication skills
  • Able to follow work instructions
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
